Beautiful antiques and works of art create a special ambience. Superb views of the ocean and square. Incredible restoration for future enjoyment. Excellent service from attentive owner. Not suitable for disabled individuals due to rough terrain. Worth every step.

Our time in Theophano art hotel was wonderful! We loved the location and the decoration and Mrs Fani, the owner, made us feel like we were guests in her own house! The hotel is brand new with very nice construction materials. Our room was lovely and clean with beautiful views from our windows! Also sipping wine on the roof terrace was an unforgettable experience. We very much enjoyed the fresh local products we tried at breakfast! We highly reccomend this hotel for its top quality of hospitality and unique attitude.

Very peaceful experience there. Romantic and spotlessly clean place, magnificent view over both the town and the sea. Nice clean sheets and a balcony in the room and the good bed. Best possible location of the hotel, very close to the old fortress Monemvasia, and historic Monemvasia. Also, close to the water front.

the staff was really helpful the entire time. the service here was excellent. besides, there was complimentary wifi, had no problem with it.

Practical and unique rooms, fairly clean bathroom. Generous and savoury breakfast available. So hospitable and amicable staff, always with a smile.

We stayed at Theophano Art for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The hotel is located inside the walled city and offers a unique experience. The main building is beautifully decorated and overlooks the parade ground. The rooms, located in small houses near the main building, are cozy and have a charming 19th-century style. The owners are incredibly polite and hospitable, and the breakfast, served on the small terrace, is tasty and abundant. The view from our house, with an enclosed garden and a fortified mountain, was simply breathtaking. Highly recommended!

The design of the hotel was exclusive and beautiful, in the best part of the old city of Monemvasia. Another very important part was the great service of Misses Theophano who made us feel great and made us fresh orange juice for breakfast. The breakfast was all made with local products or home made products, delicious in a great dinning room. It was just perfect!

This hotel is tucked away in a really beautiful square of Monemvasia, making it a truly special location. The attention to detail in the rooms is evident, with unique pieces of furniture and a lovely large balcony that offers absolutely amazing views just 2 meters away. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast served here is a must-try, featuring fresh local ingredients and accompanied by classical music.

Very personal friendly service, like being invited to a freinds house. it is a romantic and very special experience to stay in the castle of Monemvasia. The owner loves the project and offers only the best.

Access is a little bit difficult. As we arrived late afternoon, carrying the luggage to the hotel was a bit tiring.

A super experience. We spent 2 nights of a 2 week tour of Greece at the Art Hotel, and wish we could have spent a couple more nights there. The owner Fani treated us as family. Homemade breakfasts, local advice, tours of the hotel, and always willing to just chat as friends. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We fell in love with this place, our favorite place of the trip and we will try to get back soon. Fani truly loves to provide the best experience as a host and friend.
